Welcome to Denver! On behalf of the Mountain States District, Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple is happy to welcome you to Colorado for this year’s conference. On this page you will find conference information, the required registration form, and payment information. CONFERENCE DETAILS
WHEN: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. through Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (PLEASE NOTE: Thursday morning, participants will visit Red Rocks Park for the closing service. Transportation will be provided and will return to the Denver Temple by 11:30 a.m. Please make your travel plans accordingly.)
WHERE: Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple located at 1947 Lawrence St., Denver, CO 80202 (PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT our mailing address!)
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION: Each minister must fill out the registration individually below. Conference registration is $250, and the registration deadline is Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The registration form includes the opportunity to order extra Koshinkai dinners for guests, as well as optional LA Dodgers vs. CO Rockies baseball tickets. The registration asks you to indicate how TSDBT will receive payment for registration and additional purchases (payments can be made separately). Payment information is available at the bottom of this page. You will receive an email copy of your registration within 48 hours of its receipt. PARKING AT TRI-STATE/DENVER BUDDHIST TEMPLE: Parking is available in the Sakura Square parking garage and open lot. The entrance is on the left on Larimer Street between 20th and 19th. Park on the first floor of the parking garage or drive straight when you enter to the open air lot on the Larimer side of the block. Bring your license plate number in to receive parking validation.
CONFERENCE HOTEL: The Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center at 1725 Champa St., Denver, CO 80202
The conference hotel is The Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center. If you choose to take the train downtown from the airport ($10 one way), it is about an 11 minute walk from Union Station. It is about a 9 minute walk to TSDBT. The conference rate of $169/night, which includes breakfast, is available for four nights (August 17th through August 21st), and the hotel staff is happy to work with you on rates if you choose to stay longer. Book by July 24th!

EVENTS & ADDITIONAL PURCHASES
Koshinkai Dinner: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
WHAT: All conference ministers are included in the Konshinkai dinner as part of the Fuken conference registration. Ministers may purchase additional dinners for guests as well. The dinner will be a seated, buffet dinner at a local Colorado restaurant featuring flavors of Colorado. Gluten free and vegan options are available.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 19, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: The Wright Room upstairs at the Appaloosa Grill, located in the historic Denver Masonic Building at 535 16th St Mall #110, Denver, CO 80202. Elevators are available.
PARKING: Parking is available across 16th St from the restaurant in the Denver Pavilions underground parking lot for $7 after 5:00 p.m.
Accessed from Welton Street between 15th and 16th St. Elevators take you directly into the Denver Pavilions from the parking garage. The restaurant is directly across 16th St. on Welton.
IF YOU ARE BRINGING A GUEST:
- Additional dinners may be ordered at $75 per guest (price does not include alcoholic beverages).
- Order the number of additional dinners you would like and your guest information in the conference registration form below by Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. (If you would like to order more than 3 additional dinner OR if you are ordering additional dinners after that date, please contact Alison Nishi directly at info@tsdbt.org)
- Pay for your additional dinner(s) in one of the methods available below in the “Payment” section.
- Once the order and payment are received, you will receive confirmation from Alison Nishi.
OPTIONAL LA Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies Game: Tuesday, August 18, 2026
WHAT: There are 45 tickets available for $25 each on a first-come, first-served basis for the CO Rockies game. Orders are made as part of the conference registration below, and payment information is available below.
WHEN: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, 6:40 p.m.
WHERE: Coors Field located three blocks from Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple at 2001 Blake St, Denver, CO 80205
HOW TO GET YOUR TICKETS:
- Order the number of tickets you would like in the conference registration form below. (If/when tickets sell out, this section will be removed from the conference registration form.)
- Pay for your tickets in one of the methods available below in the “Payment” section.
- Once the order and payment are received, you will receive confirmation from Alison Nishi who will transfer the tickets to your registration email.
- All Tickets are digital through the MLB Ballpark app. Every adult guest will need their ticket on their own digital device to enter the ballpark. You will need to transfer tickets to your adult guests. In order for you to receive and manage your tickets, you will need to download the MLB Ballpark app. For further details and instructions, please visit Rockies.com/Digital.
- Any unsold tickets will be made available for purchase by TSDBT members on August 11, 2026, so order early!

Please fill out the registration form below by August 5, 2026. You must press the “Submit” button to finish your registration. When you press submit, you will no longer be able to see your total owed. We will send a copy of your registration to you within 48 hours via email, which includes the amounts owed according to your registration. We will also keep you informed when payments are received.
