We invite you and your household to join Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple as members. We are a nonprofit organization that is funded largely through the donations of our members. Membership support contributes directly to the Temple and the Sangha (congregation) and is dedicated to sharing the Dharma. Member support allows us all to provide various Dharma services, study classes, events, retreats, and religious activities throughout the year.
The benefits of your membership include:
- Direct support for Temple Dharma services
- Development of Buddhist learning and practice opportunities through the Temple
- TSDBT membership:
- Discounted Dharma School registration fees for children (preschool-12th grade)
- Scholarship opportunities
- Preferred rates for use of facilities (weddings, family services, etc.)
- Special rates and priority for various cultural activities
- Eligibility as a voting member in TSDBT elections for the Board of Directors
- Support for the sharing of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism
- Automatic BCA membership:
- Eligibility for various retreats and seminars
- Connections and benefits with other BCA temples around the continental US.
- Support for Jodo Shinshu ministerial development
Each membership is created for the duration of one year and may be renewed annually. To create or renew a membership, fill out the Membership Form for your household and submit your dues donation. Please select your method of payment on the Membership Form.
Dues may be paid by cash or check (monthly, quarterly, or annually) online or via check.
Membership Categories
When you create or renew your Temple Membership by filling out the form below, you will select the membership category for each member of your household. Children between the ages of 0 and 18 are included as members for free with an Adult Membership. YBA (high school) members whose parents/guardians are not temple members may choose the Youth/Student membership option; high school students need to be members to qualify for scholarship opportunities through TSDBT.
We welcome all support that a member is able to afford; please contact us if the membership donation structure does not fit with your finances ( or 303-295-1844).
Membership Categories:
- Adult Membership (Ages 30-74): $360 annually
- Senior Adult Membership (Ages 75+): $200 annually
- Under 30 Membership (Ages 23-29): $120 annually
- Youth/Student Membership (Age 22 and Under): $60 annually
- Child Membership (Ages 0-18): $0 with a $120+ donation-paying membership
How to Make Membership Donations
Membership donations make up around a third of TSDBT’s annual operating budget and are essential to keeping the Temple open, staffed, and working on its mission.
We accept membership monthly, quarterly, and one-time annual donations, through check, credit/debit/PayPal, and Colorado Gives. You decide the best schedule and method for your donation.
Finances should not be a barrier to membership; please contact us if the membership donation structure does not fit with your finances ( or 303-295-1844).
Giving Tuesday (December 2, 2025) and Colorado Gives Day (December 9, 2025)
As part of the 2025 Colorado Gives campaign, the Colorado Gives Foundation will match the first month of any monthly donation on ColoradoGivesDay.org, up to $100, that is set up by the end of December 9, 2025 (up to the $250,000 fund limit). If you would like to donate monthly, whether you are renewing a membership or starting a new membership, we encourage you to set up your donations through Colorado Gives by December 9, 2025.
Any donations made by the end of day on Colorado Gives Day (Tuesday, December 9) will qualify towards our Colorado Gives Day total and may qualify TSDBT for additional gifts.

PayPal: A monthly donation can be set up automatically on PayPal. You have the option to cover the transaction fees.
Credit Card/Debit Card: Monthly donations may be made as one-time payments by credit or debit card through our PayPal link without needing a PayPal account. You have the option to cover the transaction fees.
Colorado Gives: A monthly donation can be set up automatically through the Colorado Gives website (multiple payment options available). You have the option to cover the transaction fees.
Quarterly Donations

PayPal/Credit Card/Debit Card: Quarterly payments may be made as one-time payments on PayPal. You have the option to cover the transaction fees.
Colorado Gives: Quarterly payments may be made as one-time payments through the Colorado Gives website (multiple payment options available). You have the option to cover the transaction fees.
Annual Donations
