Hanamatsuri Service will be held at 10:15 am* on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Hanamatsuri (Flower Festival) is a joyful celebration held each spring to honor the birth of Siddhartha Gautama, who would become the historical Sakyamuni Buddha. During this special service, we honor the Buddha’s birth with a hanamido (flower-adorned white elephant alter) and pour sweet tea over the baby Buddha — symbolizing the sweet rain that celebrated his arrival .
